The humidity is so high that it becomes hard to breathe, and there’s a constant feeling of oxygen shortage. In such conditions, it’s easy to overheat and become dehydrated. Here’s what you need to know: Signs of Overheating and Dehydration: Overheating: Severe fatigue, dizziness, headache. Dehydration: Dry mouth, thirst, low energy, orange urine. This can lead to serious consequences, such as fainting, even while riding a motorcycle. How to Avoid Overheating and Dehydration: Drink Enough Liquids: Make frequent stops in the shade, drink water or sports drinks with electrolytes. Cooling and Protection: Choose the right gear. We offer rental jackets with protection and breathable mesh. It’s best to wear cooling thermal underwear underneath. Sun Protection: If you prefer riding in a t-shirt and shorts, be sure to use sunscreen. The UV index is currently 9-10, and you can get sunburned in minutes. Forget about the usual 9-to-6 schedule—our life is 24/7, where the lines between work and life are completely blurred. We’re always on call, ready to help our clients. For example, one Sunday evening, when most people were relaxing, we were in the middle of an action-packed situation. Clients who had rented motorcycles for a scenic cruise through Montenegro found themselves in trouble in the Durmitor mountains. Without hesitation, we dropped everything and raced to their rescue. The couple was enjoying the beauty of the national park when suddenly, a car came speeding around a blind corner, driving on the wrong side of the road. One of the riders couldn’t react in time and ended up skidding off the road with the motorcycle. Fortunately, the rider only suffered minor bruises and scrapes. However, the motorcycle was too damaged to ride. So, my husband and I rushed to the scene for a rescue mission. By the time we arrived, it was pitch dark. We managed to load the damaged bike onto the trailer under a breathtakingly starry sky and headed back home. But then a new chapter of our nighttime adventure began. All the gas stations on our route were closed, and we were running low on fuel. We decided to spend the night in our car, waiting for the stations to open in a few hours.
