Here we are collecting stories about riding on our motorcycles

Zac rented a brand new 1300 gs bmw 2024 for his journey through Albania.
His itinerary was meticulously planned, but it wouldn’t be an Adventurer without adventure.

We parted great friends and look forward to visiting him again in 2025. Next year he has Bosnia and Herzegovina and the same old goose planned.

Frei has come to visit us twice already. The first time he rented a Honda CRF 300 in 2023 and explored Montenegro on it. You can read about this journey here.
In 2024, he returned to rent the same motorbike to explore Albania. We hope to read a new report soon as well.
Who knows, maybe he will return back to us next year to see Bosnia? Serbia? Croatia?

  I highly recommend Balkan Moto Travel. I had the best experience with my motorcycle rental and will definitely return to ride more of the Balkans, and will rent from Balkan Moto Travel again. The communication with Sergei, the owner, before and during my rental was prompt and very helpful. The motorcycle was in perfect condition and ready to go when I arrived. Serg’s route suggestions were invaluable and the riding — especially in the mountains of Montenegro and Albania — was phenomenal: like the alps with no traffic. Wow! My only caveat is that the shop is tucked into the back of a quiet lane, and would have been hard to find without GoogleMaps (which took me right there) Two big thumbs up. Go ride the Balkans, and get your bike from Balkan Moto!

  We had a beautiful experience renting motorcycles from Balkan Moto Travel. A truly professional business — all the bikes and equipment were maintained to a very high standard. The crew was kind, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the entire trip. Serj was incredible — patient, helpful, and supportive from the moment we rented the bikes until the very last moment of our journey.   Rented two BMW GS850s from Balkan Moto Travel in May 2026. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Sergio.  He made our trip truly memorable. Thank you Sergio. Below are reasons why I rated him as excellent. 1. Bikes were in excellent conditions in all aspects; tires, brakes, phone holders. Our bikes were 50k kms but rode like new. No issues whatsoever in the 8 days we rented. 2. Sergio is very responsive. During the booking process, he answerd Qs on bikes, routes best time to come. During the actual ride itself, he responded back in a few hours anytime we had Qs. 3. He helped with the routes based on what we wanted; in terms of how many kms we want to do daily, what average speed we want to do and so on. The routes were spot on. We never arrived at our hotels past 7pm which is what we wanted. The routes chosen were IMO top notch. No way I could have come up with the routes myself. This truly made our experience enjoyable. 4. The place to pick up and return bikes is very well setup to change clothes and also at the end of the trip to change back. 5. The paperwork he gave us for border crossing was spot on. Zero issues when we showed the documents.

  We had a fantastic experience with this motorcycle rental company. The bikes were in excellent condition, extremely well maintained, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English, making everything easy and stress-free. They also planned the perfect route for us, which gave us an amazing riding experience. We highly recommend them and would definitely rent from them again!
