Rental Cancellation Policy
To reserve a motorbike, a 30% prepayment of the total rental amount plus the cost of delivery, if any, is required. However, I can often give you a reservation on your tickets to Montenegro when I see that you know exactly your dates and are serious about coming.
For cancellations made more than 30 days before the start of the rental, the entire prepayment amount (minus bank transfer costs) can be refunded.
The prepayment amount cannot be refunded for cancellations made less than 30 days in advance. However, it can be used for the next booking (within one year) or to change the booking dates (subject to the availability of motorbikes on the requested dates).
Bookings cannot be changed less than one week before the start of the hire. You can write to correct the start time to a later time so that we can wait for you on time (with delivery or at our pick-up point). But the end time of the rental will stay the same in such a case.
No-shows will result in the loss of the down payment.
No Shows: we reserves the right to refuse the motorcycle to any user who fails to arrive on time (including a 30-minute “grace period”), fails to provide all the necessary documentation and/or information, fails to provide a credit card with enough available funds for the deposit; or if the driver show signs of being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other substance affecting his perception or reactions or otherwise appears unfit to operate the motorcycle. In such cases, unless the rental has been cancelled in advance, the renter will be considered a “no show” and will not be entitled to a refund. The prices are based on the pick-up and drop-off times and dates that the user arranges before the rental starts. If the user picks up the motorcycle any later or brings the motorcycle back any earlier, the user will not receive a refund for the unused hours or days.
The minimum Rental Period is one day. A “day” is a 24-hour day beginning on the date and time noted on the Rental Agreement. If the Renter returns the Motorcycle more than 29 minutes after the scheduled return time, the Rental Company reserves the right to charge the Renter for an additional rental day at the applicable daily rate as shown on the Price List. If the Renter wishes to extend the scheduled Rental Period, the Renter must request the Rental Company’s express written authorisation and pay for the estimated additional charges before the expected return time.
If there are any changes, text us (better in WhatsApp) as soon as possible. We will do our best to meet you. But keep in mind that there may be more rentals after you, and we need time to receive, prepare the bikes, wash and hand them out. If you are late, you are disrespecting the next renter and possibly disrupting their schedule, which may involve ferries, border crossings or hotels.
In some cases, if there is no renting after you, we may be able to arrange additional rental hours for you, but if you agree on this in advance, rather than putting us on the spot:
1 hour is 25% of the daily rental cost.

Booking and Payment
By signing up for the tour with submission of the online booking form and payment of the tour deposit, the customer offers to Balkan Moto Travel to bindingly conclude a travel contract. The contract shall enter into force upon the written travel confirmation from BMT. A 30% deposit per person for a guided or self-guided tour is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures a place on the tour. Spots on the guided tours are limited, and reservations are made on a first-come basis.
The outstanding balance of the tour price shall be paid with additional request 45 days before the start of the tour, unless otherwise specified in the tour’s description. If full payment is not received by the specified due date, Balkan Moto Travel reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled and to charge a cancellation fee specified in these terms and conditions.
Cancellation Charge
If a customer cancels the booking after confirmation, Balkan Moto Travel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee based on the time of cancellation.

In exceptional cases due to serious illness not related to personal actions, death of a relative, declaration of war or other force majeure circumstances beyond the participant’s control, and with documentary evidence of the reasons, a refund of the deposit or main payment minus actual expenses incurred (non-refundable hotels) is possible. We are all human and are willing to be accommodating in exceptional cases.
